深受日本陶瓷修復工藝金繕啟發，將破裂的器皿與錫合金重新熔接結合，製作含蓄、優雅並適合襯托珍貴珠寶的飾品盤。其精神源自於將物件的破損視為特色宣揚，而非缺陷般的藏匿起來，經修復後的裂痕乘載著物件與工藝背後的故事，使原有的器皿更具深厚的內涵。
The form is inspired by a philosophy from the Japanese art of pottery repairing – “Kintsugi”. Kintsugi treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. We created a new casting method inspired by this ancient technique to repair cracked Jesmonite with tin and bismuth alloy. As a result, the product presents a beautiful and elegant platform to compliment precious jewelleries.
